Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Document client interactions meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations while maintaining accurate clinical records.

• Become a key player in multidisciplinary team meetings, sharing insights and case updates to enhance collaborative client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In your work as an LPC at Balanced Well Being, you will cater to a diverse population of clients, including but not limited to individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients range in age and cultural backgrounds, emphasizing the importance of cultural competency and individualized approaches in therapy.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of an active Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.

• Valid and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) within the state of Virginia.

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience providing counseling services is required.

• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques and robust knowledge of ethical standards governing counseling practices.

Preferred Experience\n
