Cardiovascular Key Account Manager - Orlando, FL

Amgen seeks a Cardiovascular Key Account Manager based in Orlando to develop and execute strategic plans for assigned healthcare accounts. The role focuses on driving utilization of cardiovascular products through relationship-building with institutional decision-makers and coordinating cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive account plans aligned to cardiovascular business strategy and institutional needs
- Engage key opinion leaders in cardiology, lipidology, pharmacy, and P&T committees to support product utilization
- Monitor account performance and market dynamics; identify barriers and coordinate pull-through initiatives across field teams
- Coordinate compliant programs, displays, and hospital initiatives with internal teams and customers
- Provide field intelligence and recommendations to business analytics, brand, and market access teams
Requirements
- Doctorate degree plus 2 years sales/account management experience; or Master's plus 4 years; or Bachelor's plus 6 years
- 3+ years account management and/or public payor experience strongly preferred
- Advanced degree (MPH, MBA, PharmD) and 7+ years healthcare sales experience preferred
- Cardiology experience including dyslipidemia, heart failure, and acute coronary syndromes highly preferred
- Knowledge of hospital committee structures, P&T processes, DRG, and reimbursement models
- Understanding of CMS policies, Medicare, payor systems, and healthcare regulatory environment
- Demonstrated ability to influence across matrix teams and resolve payor-related issues
