We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a growing organization in New Jersey. This contract opportunity with potential for a permanent role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing day-to-day HR operations with employee support, onboarding, and benefits coordination. The person in this role will work closely with staff and leadership to help maintain a positive employee experience while ensuring HR processes run smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Manage core human resources activities across onboarding, employee relations, HR administration, and benefits support.

• Coordinate new employee processing, including pre-employment documentation, clearances, and orientation-related tasks.

• Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding workplace concerns, policy questions, and general HR guidance.

• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries.

• Maintain accurate employee records and update information within the HRIS and related tracking systems.

• Assist with recruiting activities, including communication with candidates and support for recruitment workflows.

• Partner with internal teams to help ensure physicians and other staff meet required credentialing or documentation standards where applicable.

• Contribute to ongoing HR process improvements and support operational changes or system-related updates as needed.

• Prior experience in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.

• Hands-on background in employee relations, onboarding, HR administration, and benefits coordination.

• Proficiency working with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Clear written and verbal communication skills when working with employees, candidates, and leadership.

• High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
