Reporting to the HR Manager, this role ensures HR processes run smoothly, accurately, and in alignment with company policies. The ideal candidate is collaborative, detail‑driven, and able to juggle multiple priorities with professionalism and confidentiality. Key Responsibilities HR Operations Serve as a day‑to‑day HR resource for employees and managers. Maintain accurate HRIS data and personnel records. Coordinate onboarding, orientation, and offboarding. Support employee relations by addressing routine questions and escalating complex issues. Assist with performance management, documentation, and review cycles. Contribute to engagement, recognition, and wellness initiatives. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation. Participate in HR projects and process improvements. Payroll Support Assist with payroll processing to ensure timely, accurate pay. Audit timecards and employee data for accuracy. Process hires, terminations, promotions, and other changes. Partner with payroll providers to resolve discrepancies. Respond to payroll inquiries and support audits and year‑end tasks. Maintain payroll records and documentation. Partner with hiring managers to support full‑cycle recruiting. Draft and post job openings; screen applicants; coordinate interviews. Conduct reference and background checks. Prepare offer letters and support pre‑employment steps. Assist with onboarding to ensure a smooth new‑hire experience. Maintain ATS records and recruiting metrics. Collaborate with recruiting‑focused HR team members to meet hiring needs. Benefits & Compliance Support benefits administration, including enrollments and employee questions. Assist with HR audits, reporting, and compliance activities. Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee information. Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned. Qualifications Required 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience. Experience with full‑cycle recruiting. Proficiency with HRIS and payroll systems.
