About the Role

The Company is in search of a Chief Nursing Officer to lead nursing operations and provide executive leadership across the hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing clinical standards, staffing, and patient care delivery, and will work closely with the senior leadership team to maintain appropriate nursing coverage based on census and patient acuity. Key duties include managing and developing nursing managers, supervisors, and other clinical department leaders, as well as supporting quality, infection control, education, and regulatory compliance initiatives. The role also involves identifying opportunities to enhance nursing operations and ensuring the hospital's readiness for Joint Commission and other regulatory standards. Applicants for the Chief Nursing Officer position at the company must have a BSN and a Master's degree, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a hospital environment and at least 2 years in nursing management. Director-level nursing leadership experience is strongly preferred. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of hospital nursing operations, staffing, clinical quality, and regulatory requirements, and the ability to lead effectively within an established senior leadership team. The role requires a hands-on approach to executive leadership and the ability to influence staffing, clinical quality, and nursing operations. Experience in a complex hospital unit with significant leadership responsibility is essential, and candidates with a background in skilled nursing facilities must also have meaningful hospital experience.
