Job Description
TITLE: Registered Nurse - Nursing

SCHEDULE: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

ASSIGNMENT DETAILS:
- Contract Length: 8 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36.00

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQI BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS OR HS-ACLS OR RQIACLS) certification at time of hire
- Experience in an acute care facility preferred
- At least two years recent experience in the field

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift.
- Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process consistent with the medical plan of care.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
- Incorporate teaching and discharge planning needs into the overall plan of care.
- Delegate certain aspects of patient care delivery to other nursing staff based on their clinical competence and scope of practice.
- Ensure compliance with the facility-specific requirements for certifications and competencies based on unit assignments.

COMPLIANCE / NOTES:
- Must have EPIC experience.
- Night Shift, 12-hour shifts.
