Job Overview:

We are seeking a Full-Time motivated and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our dental office team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for patients, ensuring their experience is smooth and positive. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow in an administrative role, with previous experience being a bonus but not required.

Schedule:
Monday–Thursday | 6:30 AM–3:30 PM
Full-Time | No evenings or weekends
Occasional Mondays may be required based on office needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing a busy multi-line phone system
• Scheduling and coordinating patient appointments
• Checking patients in/out
• Discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements
• Collecting patient payments
• Verifying insurance benefits
• Understanding EOBs and insurance estimates
• Following up on outstanding balances/claims
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Communicating professionally with patients who may be frustrated or have billing questions
• Working closely with doctors and clinical staff

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Strong Computer Skills
• Professional and friendly demeanor
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Comfortable handling confidential patient information
• Ability to learn dental terminology, insurance, and practice software
• Ability to discuss payments and financial arrangements professionally
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred (but not required):

• Previous experience in a dental or medical office setting.
• Familiarity with insurance billing and claims.
