As a Core Infrastructure Engineer on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, you'll design, build, and maintain secure, reliable, and scalable cloud services that power our global authentication and authorization systems. You'll contribute to the technical direction of key projects, write high-quality code, and collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to deliver impactful solutions.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain cloud-native services and microservices.
• Build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Participate in software design reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and well-tested code.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements for scalability and reliability.
• Collaborate with Product Management, and partner engineering teams.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive technical feedback.
• Contribute to operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and documentation.
• Continuously improve engineering practices, tooling, and development processes.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong programming skills in Java, Go, C++, Python, or a similar language.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Knowledge of concurrency, multithreading, and asynchronous programming.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts and service-oriented architectures.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern development practices.
• Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems.
• Experience operating production cloud services.
• Familiarity with public cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform).
• Experience with observability tools (metrics, logging, tracing).
• Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and compliance frameworks (e.g., FedRAMP, PCI DSS).

• Participate in on-call rotations and production support.
• Continuously improve service availability and performance.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79,200 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
