What You’ll Do:

• Provide independent vein harvesting procedures using the Maquet Vasoview system
• Support the cardiac surgery team with pre-op and post-op patient care
• Assist in surgical procedures and operate medical equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient records
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care

What You Need:

• Active Kansas Medical License and DEA registration
• Certification in Advanced Practice Nursing or Physician Assistant licensure
• At least 2 years of recent experience in cardiovascular or thoracic surgery
• Demonstrated proficiency in vein harvesting techniques

Preferred:

• Experience with Maquet Vasoview system
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting
• Strong communication and organizational skills

About the Assignment:
Join a reputable hospital less than an hour east of Kansas City, dedicated to providing excellent cardiac surgical care. This locum role offers the flexibility to work on specific dates, with support from a dedicated team to ensure a smooth experience. Candidates must be capable of performing vein harvesting independently to support the Cardiothoracic Surgery service line.
