TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum 2 years of RN experience required License: Valid RN license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: - Interpretation of dysrhythmias - Accessing ports - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - IV start - Assist with chest tube insertion/removal - High flow nasal cannula management - Interpretation of ABGs Description: This position focuses on the care of adult and geriatric patients. The primary patient care needs include continuous cardiac monitoring related to chemotherapy administration. Patients may be receiving diagnostic services, chemotherapy, and symptom management. There is a heavy focus on infection prevention protocols and patient falls. Special equipment includes telemetry monitors and infusion pumps. The responsibilities also include managing comorbidities and symptom management. Candidates must be comfortable floating within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Prior oncology experience is preferred but not mandatory. EPIC charting experience is required. Candidate must have previous hospital experience and be able to work a rotating schedule. Agency staff will be expected to adhere to strict compliance deadlines. References from professional sources will be required.
