Financial Management Analyst

DutiesYou will recommend and develop financial policy and guidance that governs the formulation, justification, and execution of budgets for programs.You will develop new approaches and methodologies for financial planning where precedents are lacking, particularly for programs with congressional interest or uncertain funding streams.You will resolve critical, often unprecedented, budgetary challenges by issuing authoritative interpretations of broad legislative and executive-level guidance from the Department of War (DoW) and Department of the Navy (DoN).You will evaluate the financial impact of programmatic decisions, monitor obligations to identify risks or variances, and implement innovative solutions to resolve financial challenges and improve resource utilization.You will prepare detailed analytical justifications and interpret complex budgetary policies to demonstrate regulatory compliance and support management review.
