An acclaimed, boutique restaurant group is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join the leadership team at our high-end, scratch kitchen in Woodbridge, Virginia. Key Responsibilities
Lead back-of-house operations during assigned shifts, supervising a team of 6-10 culinary professionals to ensure flawless execution.
Maintain the highest standards for recipe adherence, plate presentation, and food quality in a fully scratch kitchen environment.
Train, coach, and mentor line cooks and prep staff while fostering a culture of accountability and excellence.
Partner with the Executive Chef on menu development, inventory management, purchasing, and food cost controls.
Enforce all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations to maintain a spotless and compliant kitchen.
Work closely with front-of-house leadership to deliver a seamless and memorable guest experience.

Qualifications & Experience
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or senior culinary leader within a premium, full-service restaurant environment.
Background in upscale steakhouses, seafood concepts, or chef-driven restaurants strongly preferred.
Demonstrated success leading culinary teams in a fast-paced, high-volume operation.
Passion for high-quality ingredients, culinary technique, and operational excellence.
Strong understanding of food cost management, inventory controls, scheduling, and labor management.
ServSafe certification is highly desirable.

Competitive base salary of $70,000-$80,000, based on experience.
