Human Resources (HR) Director

We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to lead core HR operations and help shape a positive, compliant, and high-performing workplace in Hauppauge, New York. This role is ideal for a strategic people leader who can balance day-to-day human resources management with long-term planning across employee relations, benefits, and policy administration. The successful candidate will bring strong leadership experience, sound judgment, and a deep understanding of compensation, compliance, and employee support programs.Responsibilities:• Lead the human resources function, providing direction across employee relations, policy administration, benefits oversight, and organizational HR practices.• Guide managers and leadership on workplace matters, including performance concerns, conflict resolution, and employee engagement strategies.• Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitiveness, accuracy, and alignment with business goals.• Maintain HR policies, procedures, and records while ensuring practices meet applicable labor laws and regulatory standards.• Supervise and develop HR staff, establishing priorities and promoting consistent, high-quality service delivery.• Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, organizational development, and talent management initiatives.• Review and improve HR processes to strengthen efficiency, consistency, and the overall employee experience.• Monitor compliance requirements and recommend updates to programs or policies as employment regulations evolve.
