Hours: 8:00AM - 4:00PM

Hourly Rate: $21.58

Annual Education Stipends: $500 for Associates Degree/Accredited Training Program Certification or $1000 for Bachelors Degree or $1500 for Masters Degree or

Job Responsibilities

• Verifies hourly data transferred by Human Resources to the Payroll System and from the Board of Education minutes.
• Receives and computes all payroll for hourly employees making deductions for income tax, retirement, health and medical insurance and various other employee deduction requests.
• Electronically submits employee direct deposit data.
• Assists the Senior Payroll Clerk in maintaining and organizing all pertinent payroll records.
• Verifies and processes overtime payments and final vacation time payments for resigned employees.
• Assists in processing and mailing of all employee checks and paystubs.
• Posting of cash receipts to the accounting system on a timely basis.
• Assists the Senior Payroll Clerk in any of his/her duties.
• Other duties may be assigned that are relevant to the civil service job description for this title.
