Nursing Manager Intermediate Care Unit (IMC)

Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (Onsite Office space available at listed location) Full-Time

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nursing Manager (IMC) to oversee and coordinate the operations of our Intermediate Care Unit in Las Vegas. This is a 24-hour leadership role, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care aligned with hospital standards and best practices. The ideal candidate brings strong acute care IMC experience, excellent clinical judgment, and proven leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and administrative oversight of the Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Ensure staffing, scheduling, and departmental workflows support optimal patient care delivery.
• Facilitate patient throughput while maintaining appropriate levels of care and resource utilization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop nursing staff while promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and hospital administration to enhance care coordination and patient outcomes.
• Monitor quality indicators, patient safety outcomes, and regulatory compliance metrics.
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives and ensure unit readiness for audits and inspections.
• Maintain adherence to infection control, HIPAA, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Support employee engagement and retention strategies through coaching, recognition, and conflict resolution.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
• Must have acute care IMC (Intermediate Care Unit) experience Required
• Must have demonstrated leadership experience Required
• Active RN license in Nevada (or eligible for reciprocity) Required
• BLS and ACLS certifications Required

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Specialty certification in critical care or leadership (e.g., CCRN, NE-BC)
• Experience implementing performance improvement plans and clinical initiatives
