Executive Director

What You’ll Do Serve as the public face and primary ambassador for the Downtown Wapakoneta Partnership Build strong relationships, partnerships, and goodwill throughout the community Help create excitement and buy-in for downtown initiatives, events, and revitalization efforts Coordinate committees, projects, timelines, and strategic priorities with the Board of Directors Lead marketing and communication efforts using social media, website content, email marketing, photography, and digital storytelling Support downtown events, promotions, and community engagement activities Assist business and property owners by connecting them with resources, grants, incentives, and revitalization opportunities Manage day-to-day nonprofit administrative responsibilities including reporting, records, communications, and organizational operations What We’re Looking For A positive, outgoing personality with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Someone who is self-motivated, organized, creative, and comfortable working independently Ability to connect with people from all backgrounds and build productive partnerships Passion for community development, historic downtowns and local engagement Experience in marketing, public relations, business, economic development, nonprofit leadership, or related fields is preferred Experience with social media management, website development, and digital communication tools is advantageous.
