Our facility is a 124-bed acute care hospital situated on 23 scenic acres in Sparks, Nevada.

This position for a Registered Nurse is a Per Diem role within our Medical Surgical Unit III , featuring a convenient day shift schedule. We seek an enthusiastic Medical Surgical Nurse (RN) dedicated to delivering safe and compassionate care in a medical/surgical setting. The principles of Patient-Centered Care will underpin all nursing activities, while consistently demonstrating Service Excellence standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage with patients and their families to address psychosocial, spiritual, emotional, and diverse needs during care assessments.
• Develop and execute care plans utilizing nursing expertise. Incorporate both direct and indirect patient care activities related to diagnoses and co-morbidities.
• Facilitate the execution of the interdisciplinary care plan for assigned patients. Create goals, treatment strategies, and discharge plans tailored to the unique needs of each patient and their family.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program
• Valid nursing license in Nevada
• Current BLS certification
• Preferred: One year of full-time or three years of part-time experience in an acute care environment
