Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a full-time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our multicultural outpatient psychiatry office located in Palmyra, New York. This position is fully remote, providing flexibility while allowing you to make a significant impact on our diverse patient population through telehealth services.

Work Environment\n

This position is offered in a fully remote setting, allowing for the convenience of providing care from your preferred location. The telehealth model empowers therapists to connect with patients effectively while maintaining a high standard of care. Our normal working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, though there may be some flexibility required to accommodate the varying needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments that consider the unique cultural backgrounds and experiences of each patient, facilitating effective diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Implement tailored therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, ensuring they are responsive to the cultural and personal contexts of your clients.

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing specific mental health concerns, fostering resilience, and promoting overall well-being.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide coordinated care that is comprehensive and holistic.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• Master's degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a valid, current license in New York as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT.

• In-depth understanding of various mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and the importance of cultural competency in therapy.

• Demonstrated experience in providing both individual and group therapy that is culturally responsive and inclusive.

• Strong skills in crisis intervention, with the ability to maintain composure in emergency situations.
\n
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, along with a proven ability to build rapport with a diverse clientele.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Commitment to upholding professional ethics, maintaining confidentiality, and observing professional boundaries.

• A collaborative mindset to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
