Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing you to perform your essential duties in a comfortable environment that suits your individual needs. However, you will also engage with our outpatient office in Geneva when necessary, promoting collaboration with colleagues and providing in-person support to clients when needed. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a well-structured routine while maintaining flexibility.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify client needs and establish treatment goals.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique circumstances and challenges faced by each client.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with effective strategies for managing mental health conditions.

• Engage in regular collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other mental health professionals, to deliver cohesive care and support.

• Stay informed about the latest research, treatments, and methodologies in the mental health field to enhance service delivery and efficacy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with adults experiencing a range of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Our clients come from various backgrounds, which enriches your work experience and allows you to develop culturally responsive treatment approaches. Your insights and compassion will be vital in fostering a safe and trusting environment for your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.

• A valid New York State license (LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC) is required prior to starting.

• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and a genuine commitment to helping clients achieve their mental health goals.

• Proficiency with telehealth technology and electronic health record systems to efficiently manage client documentation and communication.
