Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive intake assessments to better understand clients' needs, backgrounds, and presenting issues, allowing for the development of personalized treatment plans.

• Facilitate engaging one-on-one and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing various mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and medical professionals, to ensure clients receive comprehensive and holistic care.

• Stay abreast of industry best practices and developments by actively participating in continuing education opportunities.

• Contribute strategic ideas and feedback to enhance service delivery, ensuring our counseling programs continue to evolve and meet community needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse range of clients, addressing emotional challenges across different age groups and backgrounds. Our client population includes individuals coping with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and family and relationship conflicts. Understanding and effectively communicating with clients from various cultural and socio-economic backgrounds is essential to your success in this role.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.

• Possession of a valid license (LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW) in the state of New York.

• At least two years of professional experience working with individuals facing emotional challenges.

• Demonstrated ability to build rapport quickly with clients, utilizing strong interpersonal skills.
