Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms in clients, utilizing standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on the unique needs and goals of each client, applying evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to empower them in their journey.

• Monitor and document client progress systematically, adjusting treatment plans and interventions as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care delivery and address any concurrent mental health or physical health issues.

• Engage in regular professional development opportunities, including staying current with the latest research and treatment methodologies related to mood disorders.

• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and respect for all clients.

• Participate in advocacy efforts to reduce the stigma surrounding mental health issues, promoting support for individuals navigating challenges related to their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, you will primarily serve clients dealing with various mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Your work will positively impact individuals, couples, and families who may also experience additional stressors such as homelessness, trauma from domestic abuse, or other life challenges. Your expertise will be crucial in providing a secure space for them to address their mental health and relational difficulties.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
