Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Handle a caseload that involves building rapport with clients, establishing trust, and maintaining professional ethics while respecting boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, discuss stability, schedule upcoming appointments, and determine discharge readiness when necessary.

• Create, implement, and assess individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of your clients.

• Document client interactions, progress notes, and treatment outcomes to ensure comprehensive records that comply with clinic policies.

• Perform intake assessments to determine client needs and formulate effective treatment strategies.

• Provide individual therapy sessions weekly, utilizing evidence-based practices to facilitate client growth.

• Engage in regular supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and professional development.

• Collaborate with allied healthcare providers to ensure holistic care continuity for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our counseling services primarily focus on youth, addressing diverse mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work closely with young clients, fostering a safe environment that promotes healing and personal development.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• A minimum of one year of direct experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
