Description - What You'll Do

• Conduct a variety of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests-covering areas such as chemistry, hematology, and immunology-while adhering to established protocols.
• Interpret results with precision, addressing errors as they arise, and performing essential maintenance and calibration on laboratory instruments.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for analysis as needed.
• Meticulously document all procedures, mentor new staff members or students, and help maintain stringent lab quality standards.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or a comparable allied health degree, plus preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within the first year of employment.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment.
