Bookkeeper

Role Description The Bookkeeper at Global Insurance Services Inc. is a part-time position based in Boca Raton, FL. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, including recording daily transactions, preparing journal entries, and reconciling bank and credit card accounts. The Bookkeeper will assist with generating and reviewing financial statements, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring timely invoice processing and payment posting. The role includes working with accounting software to update ledgers, track expenses, and support month-end and year-end closing activities. Qualifications Strong bookkeeping and finance skills, including experience with day-to-day transaction recording and account reconciliation. Proficiency with accounting software and related tools used for ledger management and reporting. Experience creating and posting journal entries (accounting) in accordance with standard accounting practices. Knowledge of basic accounting principles, accounts payable and receivable processes, and budgeting fundamentals. Attention to detail, strong numerical and analytical skills, and a high level of accuracy in data entry.
