A reputable contractor is looking for a Project Manager with a strong structural concrete background who understands the full lifecycle of concrete frame projects.

The ideal candidate will come from a specialty concrete contractor , rather than a traditional commercial GC. They want someone who understands the details of formwork, rebar, concrete placement, productivity, materials, and the financial side of running concrete projects.

Must-Haves

• Project Management experience with a concrete contractor / structural concrete company
• Strong understanding of concrete frame and formwork construction
• Experience managing project costs, productivity, schedules, and safety
• Ability to read and understand:
• • Rebar shop drawings
  • Post-tension shop drawings
  • Concrete formwork drawings
  • Structural drawings
  • Architectural drawings
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors
• Strong customer/client relationship skills
• Ability to work with Project Engineers, Estimators, Detailers, and other project staff
• 5+ years of relevant experience OR a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field plus relevant experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
• Willingness to travel and spend extended periods on projects outside the office

What the PM Will Do

• Manage concrete frame and formwork projects from planning through completion
• Track project productivity, costs, schedules, and safety
• Coordinate with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
• Manage contracts and project documentation
• Coordinate material and equipment schedules
• Review drawings and coordinate concrete/rebar/formwork requirements
• Monitor project quality and safety
• Lead and develop Project Engineers and other project personnel
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships
• Assist with procurement and contract negotiations
• Identify and manage project risks
