Forward Deployed Engineer

Our client is an AI-native enterprise intelligence platform that just closed a $60M Series A, one of the largest at this stage, co-led by tier-one investors with strategic backing from a global enterprise software leader. Founded by three ex-Palantir engineers, they reverse-engineer sprawling legacy ERP code into a visual knowledge graph of how a business actually runs, replacing armies of expensive consultants with software that delivers deep systems analysis in minutes instead of months. Fortune 100 enterprises are already deploying the product against a hard industry deadline, and demand is outpacing capacity. The team grew from single digits to 40 people in the past year and is targeting 80 to 100 by year end. The role You will own the technical deployment and long-term success of the most strategic enterprise accounts, on the ground floor of building the founding US team in New York. What you'll do Fly on-site to major enterprise customers to lead hands‑on technical deployments and onboarding sessions end to end Own the post‑sale customer relationship, turning initial pilots into deep, multi‑year partnerships by building trust at both the technical and executive level Build the US deployment playbook from scratch, including onboarding flows, tooling, and reusable frameworks, so customer capacity scales without headcount scaling linearly Surface product insights and expansion signals directly to the founding team, with a real line into shaping the roadmap Help grow and mentor the US deployment team as it scales from a handful of people to 50 to 100+ over the next year What we're looking for 3 to 5+ years in a technical, customer‑facing role (forward deployed engineer, solutions engineer, or technical CSM) A track record owning end‑to‑end technical deployments inside enterprise customer environments Ability to navigate and troubleshoot complex enterprise software architectures hands‑on Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative field (CS, engineering, mathematics, or similar) Low ego and coachable, the biggest cultural pillar on this team Available for regular domestic travel to customer sites Exposure to ERP, SAP, or similarly complex enterprise software ecosystems Experience at a mature startup or a big tech company in a technical, customer‑facing role A clear signal of excellence, such as a top school or a top company background Compensation and benefits $175,000 to $250,000 base salary, plus competitive equity.
