2nd Shift Sheet Metal Operator

Location: Seattle, WA

Schedule: Monday-Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

Pay: Competitive Pay

Position Type: Contract-to-Hire

We're looking for a Sheet Metal Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Seattle. In this role, you'll operate sheet metal fabrication equipment to produce quality parts used in a variety of manufacturing projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with sheet metal experience who enjoys working with fabrication equipment, reading blueprints, and being part of a collaborative production team.

• Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as laser cutters, press brakes, and related machinery
• Load and unload materials safely
• Set up machines using blueprints, work instructions, and CNC programs
• Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications
• Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools
• Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work with production teams to keep jobs moving on schedule

• High school diploma or GED
• At least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience or related technical training
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures
• Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including laser cutters and press brakes
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Basic computer skills

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
