2nd Shift Sheet Metal Operator

We're looking for a Sheet Metal Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Seattle. In this role, you'll operate sheet metal fabrication equipment to produce quality parts used in a variety of manufacturing projects. This is a great opportunity for someone with sheet metal experience who enjoys working with fabrication equipment, reading blueprints, and being part of a collaborative production team.

Operate sheet metal fabrication equipment such as laser cutters, press brakes, and related machinery

Load and unload materials safely

Set up machines using blueprints, work instructions, and CNC programs

Measure and inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications

Use calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and other measuring tools

Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Work with production teams to keep jobs moving on schedule

High school diploma or GED

At least 1 year of sheet metal fabrication experience or related technical training

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings

Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and tape measures

Ability to operate sheet metal fabrication equipment, including laser cutters and press brakes

Strong attention to detail and quality

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

Basic computer skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Seattle, WA.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
