Quick Facts Location: Richmond, VA (1510 North 28th Street, ZIP 23223) Start Date: 04/28/2026 End Date: 08/31/2026 Shift: Office hours 8 am – 4 pm; 24/7 call schedule Hours/week: 40 hours Employment Type: Locum to perm License/Certifications: Medical license in VA required Experience: Prior OB/GYN experience preferred Pay Rate: $19.50/hour Benefits: Weekly pay via direct deposit, comprehensive medical benefits (W-2), referral bonus program, paid sick time, licensure, certification, travel & other reimbursements What You’ll Do Provide obstetric care for low- and high-risk pregnancies, including ultrasounds and FHR interpretation Perform routine childbirth procedures: vaginal deliveries, C-sections, breech, multiple births Conduct gynecological procedures such as IUD insertions, colposcopies, cystoscopies, and minor surgeries Manage patient follow-up and perform prenatal assessments Collaborate with a team of physicians, midwives, and support staff Document patient care accurately in EMR (Epic) What You Need Valid medical license in Virginia Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN 2+ years of relevant clinical experience Strong procedural skills, including obstetric and gynecologic surgeries Excellent communication and teamwork skills About the Assignment This opportunity is based at Bon Secours Richmond OB/GYN at St. Mary’s, a well-established practice serving a diverse patient population. The clinic offers both outpatient and hospital-based care, including on-site ultrasound, lab, and a NICU Level III nursery.
