An opportunity is available for a Pharmacist/Pharmacist in Charge to provide professional pharmacy services in a 340B specialty pharmacy setting. This contract role supports a fast-paced environment with a commitment to patient safety, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
Location: Bronx, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM (Closed 12:30 PM – 1:00 PM for lunch)
Duration: Until a permanent option is secured
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver patient support and medication education to optimize therapeutic outcomes
- Manage pharmacy operations including staff pharmacists and technicians, fostering continuous education and training to address knowledge gaps
- Ensure adherence to patient safety protocols and professional pharmacy practice standards
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements applicable to pharmacy operations
- Oversee daily pharmacy practices to ensure efficient and effective services
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active New York State Pharmacist License is required
- Open to candidates with any level of experience—looking for motivated professionals ready to contribute immediately
- Strong leadership and communication skills preferred for managing pharmacy teams and interacting with patients
