Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. salary: $26 - $29 per hour

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports.
• Perform data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
• Reconcile bank statements and accounts.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Provide support during audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial information.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. (huge plus)
• 1-2 years of accounting experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
