Accounting Manager - Project Consultant

Headfarmer is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team as a Project Consultant providing accounting support for various client projects across multiple industries, from emerging startups to publicly traded organizations. Oversee accounting operations, ensure compliance, and provide strategic financial guidance across client projects. Play a crucial role in optimizing financial processes, managing teams, and driving client success.


Key Responsibilities may include:

• Manage and oversee accounting operations for client projects.
  
  

• Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  
  

• Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard assets.
  
  

• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to enhance client financial performance.
  
  

• Collaborate closely with client teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  
  

• Assist in budget preparation, monitoring, and forecasting for project-specific needs.
  
  

• Support audits and interact with auditors as required.
  
  

• Supervise accounting staff assigned to project teams.
  
  

• Bachelor`s degree in Accounting/Finance/or similar; CPA certification a plus

• 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting, including managerial roles.

• 2+ years of supervising experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in financial reporting.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Experience in a consulting or project-based environment is highly desired.

• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
