Brief Job Description P/T Bookkeeper work to facilitate financial bookkeeping for our school in support of the business manager. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Billing of all tuition through the FACTS Tuition Management System (FACTS is an on-line ACH payment system specifically designed for schools.) Work with School Administrative Assistant to calculate tuition & registration fees due, perform data entry into the school system & our census program. Assist in posting Tuition Assistance & Bison Fund to each family account Posting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable as needed Assist with entry of school budget calculations & assist the Parish Business Manager in preparing the Annual School Financial Report Work in conjunction with the Home School Association, posting deposits and accounts payable for the fundraising arm of our school. Provide monthly finance reports to the Diocese, School Board Financial Team, Principal, and Business Manager. Assist with HR Paperwork and establish/maintain employee files in the Financial Hub office. Assist with reviewing and calculating totals for payroll from timecards and time sheets in preparation of bi-weekly payrolls (Business Manager will do the actual payroll.) Must have strong bookkeeping skills, organizational skills, working knowledge of computers and Microsoft products, Excel, Word, Google Docs. Good attention to detail is a must! Must maintain the highest level of confidentiality, be dependable, and an efficient worker with a pleasant disposition. Team Player! Qualifications: Required Education/Experience Must have bookkeeping experience and strong organizational skills. Work with great accuracy and also be dependable and trustworthy. Reliable Transportation. Desired Skills Computer skills, Calculator, Microsoft products, Excel, Word, Google Docs, ability to learn on Cash basis accounting system, PDS Ledgers experience and Facts Tuition Management experience a plus Salary $20-$23 per hour based on experience #J-18808-Ljbffr
