Press & Grind Cafe . . . A Local Coffee House & Juice Bar is looking for experienced professional to join the team at our Victoria Park - Fort Lauderdale, location. Be a part of one of the freshest restaurant teams in South Florida. We serve fresh pressed juice, specialty coffee & made to order sandwiches & salads

You MUST have previous restaurant kitchen experience to be considered for this position. Looking for candidates that can be to work on time and can execute in a fast paced environment. If you have what it takes to join the crew and have a take-charge, get the job done mindset then this is a Café style Kitchen could be for you. We want team members that have a passion for culinary and can keep up in the heat of the moment, follow recipes, maintain and clean and organized work space and take pride in the food they are preparing and serving

We have no fry station, no open flame and it will possibly be the easiest "kitchen job" ever. We open at 7a and Close @ 6p . . . We are a high volume Cafe so if you are the type of candidate who can work as part of a team and make sandwiches & salads quickly while taking pride in their work then you will thrive in this fast-paced environment.

Excellent pay, working in a fun & fast paced environment, experienced kitchen staff earns $16 to $20 per hour with flexible schedule, free meals, coffee & smoothies

We open @ 7am every day - Available shifts are 6:30a to 2p or 11a- 6p (Openers must be able to get to work no later than 6:30a . . . we close @6pm every day so Closers are home before 7p !)  We do not have fryers, grills or flat fops, so clean up is fast & easy and the kitchen is a cool & comfortable 72 degrees

Responsibilities:

• Quickly make sandwiches, salads & wraps
• maintain freshness and quality of ingredients
• Standardize recipes and plate presentations
• great every guest with a smile and great attitude
• Work with management to create a memorable experience for guests

Qualifications:

• Min 2yrs previous experience as line cook, prep cook or sandwich maker is required
• Passion for food and cooking techniques
• Ability to work on a team
• Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Basic kitchen skills and ability to follow recipes
• Food Handler Certificate or ServSafe Certified a PLUS
