Pension, 401(k) with company match and bonus programs are part of our benefits. Role Overview We are looking for a PM Line Cook to join our Culinary team. The candidate will support the Chef in production and fabrication of food for kitchen, cafeteria, banquet cooking, dining room, and Concierge Lounge. The Cook will maintain adequate production levels and assist with menu development reflecting seasonal availability and restaurant concept. Responsibilities Develop knowledge and skills in various cooking procedures and methods (grill, sauté, fry) Operate knives and kitchen equipment safely Ensure consistency in all food preparation Minimize food waste through cross utilization Create workstations with required ingredients and equipment Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat) Sanitize and maintain an orderly kitchen environment Store food and items properly and maintain ingredient quality Qualifications 1-3 years previous experience working in a professional kitchen environment as a cook Active Food Handler’s certification or ability to obtain one Willingness to work a variety of day, night, and weekend shifts Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently Physical stamina: able to stand for long periods and lift at least 50 pounds Minimum age 21 Desire to exceed expectations and energetic personality Compensation $17 per hour.
