This contract opportunity is ideal for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a passion for helping children reach their full communication potential within a collaborative educational environment.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
Valid state licensure (or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Illinois)
Prior experience working with school-aged children is highly valued
Ability to assess, diagnose, and treat a range of speech, language, and communication disorders
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, teachers, and other specialists

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and collaborate on Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Design and implement evidence-based therapy sessions tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
Document progress, maintain records, and complete IEP-related paperwork in a timely and organized manner
Serve as a resource to school staff and participate in in-service trainings and multidisciplinary meetings
Engage families and teachers to maximize each student’s learning and communicative outcomes
Remain current on best practices in the field and adhere to all ethical and professional standards
