Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform detailed assessments of clients’ mental and emotional states, identifying their unique needs and objectives.

• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations, in consultation with clients, ensuring that each plan is aligned with their specific goals.

• Provide individual therapy sessions to a diverse clientele, addressing a wide range of mental health issues including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions designed to enhance communication, resolve conflicts, and build stronger bonds.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment strategies in accordance with clients’ progress and evolving needs, documenting all updates meticulously.

• Maintain comprehensive and timely records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment adjustments, to ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Actively engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care and support for clients.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and support to clients facing acute distress or emergencies, using established protocols to guide effective response.

• Stay informed about current research, best practices, and innovations in marriage and family therapy to enhance service delivery.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to continually refine therapeutic skills and expand clinical knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ rights and well-being, empowering them to make informed decisions regarding their treatment options.

• Promote self-care strategies and wellness practices within therapy sessions, encouraging clients to prioritize their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will encompass a diverse range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Each client presents unique challenges and backgrounds, requiring a tailored therapeutic approach. You will be instrumental in offering support to individuals seeking to improve their emotional well-being and create meaningful change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field.

• Valid and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board.
\n
• Demonstrated experience in providing individual and/or couples therapy within a clinical setting.

• Strong communication and writing skills, along with proficiency in using electronic health record systems and software applications.

• Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality regarding client information.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with specific populations is a plus, such as children, adolescents, or clients facing generational trauma.

• Capability to engage effectively in teletherapy and utilize digital platforms for providing therapy services.

Compensation and Benefits\n
