Exciting Opportunity for Acute Care Physical Therapists - Position: Acute Care Physical Therapy - Start Date: ASAP - Shift: 5X8; Tuesday to Saturday, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM - Local Radius: 50 miles (local rate available, please reach out for details) Key Qualifications: - Experience: Minimum of 1 year required - Certifications: BLS certification required - State License: CA PT license required - First-timers Accepted: Yes - Guaranteed Hours: Facility may call off once per two-week pay period - RTO Restrictions: Must be included at time of submission Special Requirements: - Acute Care experience - Home Exercise Programs - Lifting and Transfer techniques - Patient Family Education - Experience in ER, Geriatrics, ICU, Medical Surgical, Orthopedics - AROM/AAROM/PROM techniques - Proficient with Assistive Devices and Body Mechanics - Pain Assessment and Skin Integrity - Strong skills in Strength Testing and Vital Signs Monitoring - Knowledge in Discharge Planning and Evaluation - Familiar with Reassessments, Short Term Goals - Ability to use Call Lights, Crutches, Gait Belts, and Hospital Beds - Knowledge of Standard Walkers and Supplemental Oxygen - Experience with Chronic Conditions: COPD, CHF, CABG, MI - Skills in Gait Training, Hip Fractures/Injuries, Knee Injuries/Tendinopathy - Experience in Total Hip and Total Knee Replacements, Post Stroke Rehabilitation Hospital Highlights: - Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital - Total Staffed Beds: 212 - Charting System: Epic - Parking: Free parking available!
