Senior Payroll Analyst

Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $35.00 to $48.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities Manage payroll operations by processing employee compensation accurately and ensuring timely payroll completion. Review payroll data including earnings deductions taxes and special pay adjustments to maintain compliance and accuracy. Perform payroll reconciliations analysis and reporting to support financial reporting and operational decision making. Partner with accounting human resources technology and operational teams to resolve payroll issues and improve processes. Lead payroll improvement initiatives by supporting system enhancements automation efforts and documentation updates. Requirements 5+ years of progressive payroll experience including large multistate payroll processing responsibilities. Demonstrate strong knowledge of payroll regulations tax requirements and payroll compliance practices. Possess experience with enterprise payroll systems and advanced Excel reporting and reconciliation functions. Maintain experience supporting payroll audits year end reporting and payroll related financial reconciliations. Qualifications Apply strong analytical and problem solving skills to investigate discrepancies and resolve complex payroll matters. Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail when reviewing payroll transactions records and reports. Communicate effectively with employees management government agencies and cross functional business partners. Maintain strong organizational skills while managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
