The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with ADP systems and thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll, ensuring compliance with applicable legislation, and supporting employees with pay-related inquiries. This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week in our fun Crunch HQ office in Cambridge, ON. This position is currently a one year contract, with the potential to expand to a permanent role! Key Responsibilities Process end-to-end payroll on a bi-weekly/semi-monthly basis using ADP Ensure accurate calculation of wages, overtime, bonuses, commissions, and deductions Maintain and update employee payroll records in ADP Review and reconcile payroll reports to ensure accuracy prior to processing Manage statutory deductions, including taxes, CPP, and EI Prepare and process ROEs, T4s, and year-end payroll activities Respond to employee inquiries related to pay, benefits, and deductions in a timely and professional manner Manage onboarding and offboarding of all employees Work with supporting platforms to manage onboarding and offboarding of all employees Collaborate with HR and Finance teams on payroll-related matters Ensure compliance with employment standards and company policies Support audits and provide payroll reporting as required Qualifications 1--3+ years of payroll administration experience Hands-on experience with ADP (Workforce Now or similar platform preferred) Strong knowledge of Canadian payroll legislation and standards Payroll administrator certificate or working toward it is an asset High level of accuracy and attention to detail Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Proficient in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting Our Core Values: Communication is Key - Clarity and transparency with our processes and expectations Leaders Grow Leaders - We empower, develop, and support each other through shared commitment All In, All The Time - We give 100% without hesitation Challenge Transforms Growth - We embrace our challenges as an opportunity to learn and grow Teamwork and Community - our team plays a vital role in our success and are valuable contributors to the community Vacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.
