Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist

Join our team as a Certified CVOR Surgical Technologist where you will function as a member of a cardiac team, assisting physicians and nurses in the operating room during surgical procedures. You will ensure patient safety by preparing the operating room, sterilizing equipment, and providing support to the surgical team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program (NBSTSA-accredited program preferred).
• Current national certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience in specialty. Client requires at least 2 years of OR experience in specialty (RN, CST, CVOR RN, or CVOR CST).
• Experience in CVOR cases including cardiothoracic, vascular, and thoracic procedures preferred.
• Experience with high-volume operating room environments. Facility performs on average 45 cases per day and maintains 13 OR rooms plus a procedure room.
• Ortho experience rated 4-5 preferred for candidates who will support orthopedic cases.
• First-time travelers may be considered by the client. This is acceptable to the hiring facility.

Assignment Details

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Nights.
• Shift Days: Friday through Sunday nights.
• Shift Hours: 18:30 to 07:00.
• Schedule: Standard hours per week 36.
• Assignment Duration: 13-week travel assignment.
• Floating: Candidate may be required to float to other units within the facility or associated hospital locations as needed.
