Full-stack Software Engineer

As a Full-stack Software Engineer, you will support mobile app deployment ecosystem by helping Android, iOS, Mac, and Chrome app development teams build, test, and deploy applications more efficiently. You will design, develop, and manage self-service tools that allow developers to automate app deployments to various app stores. You will work across both front-end and back-end technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Google Cloud Platform, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation practices. You will help centralize deployment pipelines, create a user-friendly developer portal, and build and maintain scalable infrastructure. You will also collaborate closely with app development teams and business partners to provide technical leadership, improve release efficiency, reduce manual effort, and support the delivery of high-quality mobile applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications (Must-have qualifications that candidates must meet to be considered)

• Experience in Angular, Spring Boot, Java, Google Cloud Platform, GitHub, API
• 5 years of experience in Java Spring Boot development
• 5 years of experience in Angular or a similar framework
• 3 years of experience in Google Cloud Platform Services
• 3 years of experience in RESTful API development
• 2 years of experience in building GitHub actions
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation practices
• Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry
• Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications (Nice-to-have skills but are not required)

• Ansible, Jira, Swift, Kotlin, Scripting
• 5 years of building and maintaining web applications
• Mobile development experience in either iOS or Android
• Familiarity with vulnerability analysis and mitigation
• Experience working in a service team for a large organization
• Strong problem-solving skills to help solve issues and drive new solutions
• DevOps experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities (key tasks and expectations for the role)

• Drive automation via GitHub actions and centralize deployment pipelines for all Android and iOS app developers.
• Design, develop and deploy a self-service portal for developers using Java (Spring Boot), Angular, GCP.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure a bug-free solution that is increasingly automated.
• Review code quality to ensure products are without vulnerabilities.
• Work closely with app development teams and business teams to provide technical leadership and help build world-class apps.
• Monitor and improve developed applications and tools.
• Develop, maintain and optimize infrastructure being leveraged to support the automation and self-service portal.
• Contribute to system architecture decisions, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Translate business requirements into detailed Jira user stories with acceptance criteria, enabling accurate sprint planning and predictable delivery.
