Business Development Manager

Sally Pod USA is the U.S. expansion of an established global manufacturer of prefabricated bathroom pod solutions. Backed by a parent company founded in 1999, we have successfully delivered modular construction solutions internationally and launched its U.S. operations last year. As the company expands its presence across the United States, we are seeking a relationship-driven business development professional to help establish and grow the brand within key construction markets. This is an opportunity to join a growing business at the ground level and play a direct role in bringing an innovative construction solution to multifamily, hospitality, affordable housing, student housing, and senior living developments throughout the U.S. What You’ll Do Develop and grow Sally Pod USA's project pipeline across California and future national markets Build relationships with developers, architects, designers, owners, general contractors, and other construction decision-makers Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities for prefabricated bathroom pod solutions Engage project stakeholders early in the design and specification process Leverage existing industry relationships while developing new business opportunities Manage opportunities through the full sales cycle, from introduction through contract execution Collaborate closely with company leadership on presentations, proposals, pricing discussions, and customer meetings Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings Maintain an organized pipeline and forecast using CRM tools What We’re Looking For 5+ years of business development, sales, or client-facing experience in the construction industry Strong network of relationships within the ground-up construction market Experience working with developers, architects, designers, general contractors, owner representatives, or construction executives Proven ability to generate new opportunities and navigate long, consultative sales cycles Strong presentation, communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills Comfortability with approximately 30-40% travel , primarily focused on California initially, with opportunities to support future national expansion Preferred Experience Modular construction, prefabrication, off-site construction, building systems, or construction products Multifamily, hospitality, affordable housing, student housing, or senior living projects California construction and development markets Existing relationships with project influencers, designers, and developers Mandarin Chinese language skills are a plus but not required Target Total Compensation: Approximately $200,000 Performance-based commission structure Relocation assistance available for well-qualified candidates Additional Job Application Terms This job is part of LinkedIn’s Full-Service Hiring beta program.
