Greenmark serves industrial, commercial, and construction markets across the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex and operates as Home Town Disposal in the Memphis metroplex, where we serve the residential market. We are hiring for two sales positions that offer different entry points and growth trajectories: Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) – Ideal for early career professionals who would like an entry point to learn the business from the ground up and who can excel at conducting online research and phone-based prospecting and relationship building. This position provides a foundation for growth into field-based sales positions. This role will work onsite at our Dallas yard. Account Executive (Outside Sales) – Designed for experienced sales professionals with a proven track record in territory management and face-to-face selling. This position will be based out of our Dallas yard and will operate primarily in the field covering the Dallas-Fort Worth territory. Position Summary As a member of Greenmark’s sales team, you will be responsible for attaining new, profitable business growth within an assigned territory or line of business. This will involve identifying leads, proactively prospecting, and selling new and profitable business in the commercial, portable restrooms, and roll‑off dumpster lines of business. The ability to develop effective, authentic relationships with customers and key‑decision makers will be critical to your success, since this is a hallmark of our brand. Both positions offer the opportunity to be considered for our Leadership Development Program. Leadership Development Program The Greenmark Leadership Development Program provides a transformative opportunity for talented, driven individuals who are looking for an accelerated career development path. Program participants will grow professionally and personally as they learn the valuable and essential skills within their field. Over time, you will gain exposure across all facets of the company, including sales, customer service, accounting & finance, operations, and safety. You’ll receive mentorship through access to management and leadership as well as skill development through in‑person and virtual trainings. This is where your foundation is set and your leadership journey begins. You’ll build skills, experience, and connections that last well beyond the program. Please note: Both positions are eligible to be considered for participation in the Leadership Development Program, though admission is selective and not automatic. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Responsibilities for Both Roles: Prospect for new potential customers utilizing sales tools and market research Obtain potential customers through cold calling and email outreach Establish initial and follow‑up appointments with customer decision‑makers Manage and communicate effectively with prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing Manage, organize, and track all stages of the sale process in our system Document all activities and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers Complete required proposals, service agreements, and other administrative work in a timely manner Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience Meet and exceed monthly targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction goals Develop in-depth knowledge of Greenmark, waste industry, local market competitive trends and our equipment Focus on serving customers and discern actionable steps to help customers Work independently, earn a reputation as a trusted team member who will always do the right thing, and communicate proactively Be a brand ambassador for Greenmark, driving a culture of excellence and true partnership with teammates, customers and external stakeholders Additional Responsibilities for Account Executive Leverage industry events and conferences for prospecting Conduct in‑person outreach and meetings to develop relationships with customer decision‑makers Visit customer sites to ensure safety and proper dumpster placement Attend company‑sponsored networking events Education, Experience, Requirements Required for Both Positions: Bachelor's degree is preferred 1‑2 years of experience in a customer service role that includes upselling, phone‑based prospecting, cold calling, and/or direct business‑to‑business sales resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (part‑time work during college and/or internship experience can count toward this requirement) Industry experience in business services, construction, industrial services, or environmental services is a plus Experience with CRM tools preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Additional Requirements for Account Executive: 2+ years of door‑to‑door business‑to‑business prospecting experience resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments and closing sales Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout metroplex to meet with prospective and current customers Knowledge, Skills, and Character Traits Strong ability to build authentic relationships Strong skills utilizing and optimizing modern sales technology Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams Focus on helping customers and ability to discern actionable steps to help customers Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills Demonstrates integrity, courage and professionalism at all times Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment, work autonomously, and manage multiple priorities simultaneously Enjoys a competitive and assertive work environment Learner mindset, with innate curiosity that drives figuring out solutions and learning new things Ability to lead by example, with a desire to teach and coach others A healthy balance of confidence and humility, as well as grit and determination to do what needs to be done Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and disciplined; with a commitment to doing things the right way and following through Strong discernment on time management, priorities, communications, and business decisions Self‑starter who demonstrates integrity in all actions and an ownership mentality with a strong desire to take care of what has been entrusted to them Focus on planning and preparation and executing on processes Ability to balance long‑term perspective while consistently and methodically executing daily responsibilities Why Join Us This is not a typical sales role—and Greenmark is not a typical company.
