Accounts Operations Supervisor (Urbandale)

Join a dynamic accounting operations team and play a key leadership role managing high-volume Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable functions. This position is ideal for a hands-on leader who excels at coaching teams, driving operational excellence, and improving processes.

What You'll Do

Lead and coach a team of 10-12 accounting professionals
Manage daily workflow, priorities, and productivity
Monitor performance, deadlines, and operational goals
Support month-end close activities and transaction processing
Partner with Finance, Operations, and global teams, including colleagues in India
Drive process improvements and efficiency initiatives
Utilize tools such as Excel, Power BI, Oracle, Workday, and SharePoint

Required Qualifications

5+ years of accounting or finance experience
Experience leading teams in accounting operations, finance operations, AP, AR, or transaction-processing environments
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Proven experience managing priorities, reviewing work, and meeting operational objectives
Strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience working with international teams
Knowledge of Power BI, Oracle, Workday, and advanced Excel
Process improvement and project management experience
