Technologist, Cardiac Cath Lab — Concord, NC. The Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist supports cardiac and vascular procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases, device placement, ablations, and thrombolytic procedures. The role requires collaboration across cardiac catheterization and vascular laboratory settings, with rotating 10-hour shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) certification.
• Schedule: Rotating 10-hour shifts beginning at 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 40 hours per week. Weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation may be required based on departmental needs.
• Additional Information: Supports cardiac, vascular, and electrophysiology procedures, including right and left heart catheterization with intervention, complex percutaneous coronary intervention, pericardiocentesis, lower-extremity angiograms, fistulagrams, venograms, carotid angiograms with stent placement, endovascular aneurysm repair, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, vascular access procedures, and thrombolytic interventions. Departmental orientation includes electronic medical record training and unit-based training. Travelers may be scheduled in the vascular laboratory when needed.
