Overview
The Operations Manager of Telehealth Provider Services is responsible for leading and optimizing telehealth provider services through strategic planning, operational oversight, and cross-functional collaboration. This role supports the development, implementation, and ongoing management of telehealth programs while ensuring service delivery aligns with organizational goals, clinical best practices, and client expectations. The position partners closely with Operations, IT, and Clinical leaders to maintain high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective telehealth services. The Operations Manager also oversees provider onboarding, training, performance management, and client relationship activities to enhance the overall telehealth experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational support, guidance, and oversight for telehealth providers and telehealth service delivery.
- Assist with the implementation of new telehealth services, site activations, and program expansion efforts.
- Coordinate provider onboarding, orientation, training, continuing education, and performance management activities.
- Collaborate with Operations, IT, Clinical leadership, and local site leaders to ensure effective service delivery and patient care coordination.
- Support quality improvement initiatives, policy development, risk management activities, and ongoing evaluation of telehealth services.
Qualifications
Education
- College degree in nursing or other healthcare related field preferred.
- Master’s degree in a healthcare related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum three (3) years of job-related experience, or post-graduate studies, or a combination preferred.
- Experience in the development, implementation, and management of healthcare services preferred.
- Experience in telemedicine preferred.
- Advanced knowledge/experience with Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required.
