Responsibilities

• Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently
• Coordinate with medical staff to manage calendars and availability
• Confirm and remind patients of upcoming appointments
• Maintain and update patient records in scheduling systems
• Handle incoming calls and inquiries regarding appointments
• Reschedule or cancel appointments as needed
• Verify patient information and insurance details
• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members
• Manage high call volumes and prioritize urgent scheduling requests
• Document all scheduling activities accurately in electronic systems
• Support administrative tasks related to patient coordination

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0-2 years of experience in a healthcare or administrative role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with scheduling software
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Comfortable working part-time hours with flexibility
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace
• Customer service experience is a plus
• Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
