Responsible for scheduling, cancelling, and registering outpatient visits and procedures for multiple ambulatory clinics, the full-time Centralized Scheduler will collect necessary information and ensure accurate patient records while working remotely. Key responsibilities Obtain and verify patient guarantor information annually to maintain up-to-date records Schedule and register patients according to guidelines and medical appropriateness Respond to patient and staff needs, escalating issues as necessary to appropriate personnel Required qualifications High School diploma or equivalent State criminal background check and Federal check as required for regulated areas Experience in a scheduling or administrative role within a healthcare setting is preferred Ability to work in a standard office environment and sit for extended periods Familiarity with medical terminology and patient registration processes is advantageous
