This role is central to implementing the Icelandic Prevention Model (IPM) locally and helping to create a healthier, more supportive environment for youth.As the lead point of contact, the Coordinator will work closely with local, regional, state, national, and international partners to champion youth wellbeing, drive collaboration, and guide the strategic rollout of this internationally recognized model.Status: Full Time, Contract with benefits. 37.5 hours per week. Sick and vacation leave will be accrued per pay period. Retirement, dental insurance, health insurance will be offered.Pay Rate: $18.07 - $22.46, negotiable with additional experience. A 5% increment will be awarded upon completion of a 6-month probationary period.Reports to: DirectorLocation: Lawrence County Health Department, Louisa, KYPrimary duties include, but are not limited to:Coalition Building and FacilitationServe as the primary liaison for project implementation.Facilitate regular coalition and working group meetings with community partners across health, education, youth services, and more.Build and maintain meaningful partnerships that foster equity, inclusion, and shared leadership.Community EngagementMobilize community participation and increase public understanding of CommUNITY and the IPM approach.Promote youth engagement and co-design opportunities ensuring youth voices are centered in all planning and decision-making processes.Survey Implementation and Evaluation SupportBuild and maintain meaningful partnerships with school partners.Support school partners in administering youth surveys and achieving an 80% participation rate.Collaborate with researchers and partners to ensure quality and consistency of data collection and usage.Program Guidance and Strategic AlignmentMaintain a strong working knowledge of the Planet Youth model and implementation guidance.Regular participation in workshops and training.Communication and CoordinationManage internal and external communications related to initiatives.Track progress, coordinate reporting, and support storytelling to demonstrate impact.Support grant reporting, fundraising efforts, and strategic planning for long-term sustainability.Minimum Education, Training, or Experience:Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor’s degree in public health, education, health and human services, or related field is required. Must have three (3) years of health, human services, public health, or education experience.
